These days it is very popular to send photo cards featuring images of our children so that we can let parents and grandparents catch up on our growing families. Personally, I love to receive photo cards of all my extended family as I place them on the fridge and pray for them throughout the year.

This year, why not include your photo card along with a traditional Christmas card that has a scripture message about the reason for the holiday?

Christ taught His followers to share the gospel message with others.

Christmas is a wonderful season to share the purpose for Christmas along with family and friends.

One night Jesus explained to a man who came to see Him why He had come. He said to Nicodemus:

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

Each of my Five Christmas Card designs has the scripture verse from John 3:16 (KJV version)  printed at the bottom of the card to give your recipients the gospel message that Jesus spoke to Nicodemus about God’s immeasurable love for the world.

When you send one of these cards you are sharing the Gospel message at Christmas. What better way to share Christ’s love and obey His Great Commission to share the Good News.

We can still share photo cards with our loved ones along with traditional cards by popping the photo card along with it.

Some important things for Christians to meditate on at Christmas:

Jesus was born of a virgin. His mother Mary was human but His Father was God.

(Read Luke 2:26-35)

Jesus was sinless. (Read 1 Peter 1:19, 2:22, Hebrews 4:15)

Jesus was given the task to go to the cross and die for the sins of all people so that we might be redeemed and live forever as His holy priests doing God’s will, free forever from sin and death. The apostles taught that those who abide in Christ won't make a practice of sinning. 1 John 1:5

¹⁸ We know [absolutely] that anyone born of God does not [deliberately and knowingly] practice committing sin, but the One Who was begotten of God carefully watches over and protects him [Christ’s divine presence within him preserves him against the evil], and the wicked one does not lay hold (get a grip) on him or touch [him]. (*1 John 5:18 Amplified Bible)

 But if we do sin there is forgiveness provided for the saints because the blood of Jesus cleanses His children from all sin.  God's Word promises "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)

Jesus said one must be born again to see the Kingdom of Heaven. (Read John 3:5-7)

Those who receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior are born again into God’s family and receive the Holy Spirit of God. (Read John 1:12-13)

Jesus said that we would rise again someday. (Read John 11)

Even as Christ rose from death after being in the grave for three days. He rose again for our atonement to die no more.  (Read Hebrews 10:12-14)

Jesus promises to those who receive Him as their Savior that when we pass from this life He will take us to live forever with Him to live in Paradise for Eternity. (Read John 14)

This is the Traditional Christian Gospel left to us by Jesus and the Apostles recorded in the New Testament.
