The Seasons Inspirational Scripture Calendar is a very special one to me for the Lord Jesus Christ inspired me to create it in honor of my beautiful eldest sister who’s life was such a wellspring of joy, cheer, and encouragement to all who knew her.

She and my mother both were the most positive people I have ever known.  Both of them embodied the love of Christ in the way they gave of themselves so unselfishly to everyone.

I wanted to create a calendar that embodied my sister’s spirit who naturally inherited my mother’s own positive attitude in all her ways.

We each are given a season to live on this earth and what we do with our gift from the Lord is our choice.
My mother and sister sowed seeds of love, joy, and peace wherever they went no matter what came their way.
The Bible tells us that the fruit of the Holy Spirit is “…love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance…” ~Galatians 5:22-23 - KJV

Whatever seeds we sow Paul wrote, we shall also reap.
I pray I will sow such seeds as they sowed in the season that the Lord has given me to live so that I might bear eternal fruit for Christ.

A calendar reminds us of the seasons, and the seasons remind us of time, and time reminds us of how quickly our life passes by.

God has given each of us a purpose.

“He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?”
Micah 6:8 - KJV

Jesus said, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”
John 14:1-3 - KJV

Jesus will come for me someday. He will receive me into His Father’s House just as He promised. And I will see my beautiful mother and sister again. How do I know this?

Because Jesus promised, “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die. Believest thou this?” John 11:25-26 - KJV

I thank the Lord for the beautiful promises in His Word. They are comforting to be sure, but they are also life changing when we study and meditate on them and live by them. God never lies. Every word of scripture is His revealed truth.

Each new month of this new Inspirational Scripture Calendar features an inspiring verse from God’s eternal Word which ever brings hope and light into our darkness.

Jesus said, “In this world ye shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33.
