Please don’t just take my word for these things, but rather, take time to pray in your prayer closet and ask the Lord to speak His words of truth to teach you Himself about His Beloved Son Jesus Christ. He promises to give wisdom to all who ask.
“But if any of you lacks wisdom, let them ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to you. But ask in faith, without any doubting, for those who doubt are like waves of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. Let not that soul think they will receive anything from the Lord, for they are double minded, unstable in all their ways.” James 1:-5-8
God does not show favoritism, His Word says. If we pray, He delights to lead us into all truth. For Jesus said, “When He, the Spirit of Truth has come He will guide you into all truth…” John 16:13 But one thing to remember about the Holy Spirit that Jesus said and that many overlook. Jesus said, “The Spirit of Truth whom the world cannot receive, for it doesn’t see Him, and doesn’t know Him…” John 14.17
John the apostle warns the followers of Christ not to love the world. See 1 John 2:15-17. The world is passing away with its lusts, but the one who does the will of God will last forever.” 1 John 2:17
