This is a Digital Original Art Print of an original watercolor floral painting that I made. It features a bonus Audio track of the author reading the prayer poem.

In my print, the delicate watercolor serves as a backdrop to the inspirational poem about the myriad choices we make every day that affect the course of our lives, some for good, some not.

Sometimes we won't know the consequences of some of the choices we made till many years later.

So many of our daily choices seem like such innocent affairs, like the ubiquitous pebbles scattered about a walking path.

My poem uses the imagery of pebbles as choices along our path of life~ each one asking us to make so many decisions every day.

And what are the right answers? How do we know how to keep from stumbling? The child of God in the poem prays and asks the Lord this very question.

Answers are not always cut and dry, life is not rendered in simple black and white, but in myriad tonal values, with thousands of shades of grays.

We are not given every answer for all of our questions. We are asked to walk by faith and trust God though we can't see and have no guarantees that we won't fall. The Word of God does promise us this though:

"The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand." Psalm 37:23-24 (KJV)
